Jason Trainor has acted on a wide range of corporate and finance transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity financings and corporate reorganisations involving both private companies and companies seeking admission to the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and the Official List of the London Stock Exchange as well as the PLUS-quoted market. He has also been involved in a number of private equity transactions and cross-border financings acting for lenders and borrowers and has significant experience advising international mining companies.
Jason qualified in Canada and spent several years working at Cassels Brock & Blackwell in Toronto, where he specialised in securities and corporate finance, advising investment banks and companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange on a range of matters including multi-jurisdictional public and private securities offerings, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, continuous disclosure and corporate governance. He joined the firm in April 2006.
